PulseTech Battery Management Program

We want you to try our simple 3 step program to see how much we can help you!

Back in 1994, PulseTech Products Corporation were asked by the engineers at Fort Hood, Texas to design a program to help the US military reduce their battery costs.  The soldiers were not battery experts but they saw a need to keep their batteries in the field and combat ready so they introduced a battery management program that taught them how to manage their batteries from cradle to grave.  In 2 years PulseTech reduced the battery expenses at Fort Hood by $7 million.  These savings were only the amount spent on batteries and did not include the costs of downtime and other expenses that goes with battery failures.

This program is now available in the commercial market and if you have not started using this program, you are losing money.  This simple 3 step program teaches how to restore batteries instead of replacing them, how to maintain them and keep them charged and ready to perform at all times.

PulseTech’s April PulseTalk is focused on their Battery Management Program.  Some of the benefits of using this program include:

  • Extends battery life up to 3 times
  • Recovers 70% of spent batteries
  • Extends alternator and starter life
  • Reduces the number of batteries purchased
  • Reduces hazardous waste generation

You can download PulseTech’s April edition of PulseTalk here.  For more information on PulseTech products, contact Industrial Finishes  by phone at 800.531.1305 or by visiting your nearest Industrial Finishes Location.

12-Station Battery Maintenance System

The PRO-12-RP, 12-Station Battery Maintenance System both preserves new 12-Volt lead-acid batteries at peak charge levels by keeping the plates in like-new condition during storage and maintains up to twelve batteries at a time. A continuous cycle of low amp charging rotates through the twelve channels offsetting the normal discharge rate. At the same time, optimized high frequency patented pulsing reduces the size and number of lead sulfate deposits so that shelved batteries stay “factory fresh” while waiting to be sold or installed.

Features:

  • Maintains as many as twelve stored batteries in peak condition indefinitely
  • Works on all 12V lead-acid batteries (VRLA, AGM, gel and flooded cell)
  • Low-amperage patented pulsing charge offsets the normal discharge rate
  • Completely safe with no danger of overcharging
  • LEDs show the condition of each battery

The PRO-12-RP is easy to use with minimum training. Simply connect the cable leads to as many as twelve 12V lead-acid batteries, plug it in, flip the switch and walk away. There’s no possibility of sparking between leads and an audible alarm sounds if a battery is connected improperly making it easy to verify it’s installed correctly.

Each of the 12 charging cables has their own independent LEDs so you know the exact condition of each battery. This maintenance system isn’t designed to operate on batteries below 11.5 volts. Batteries discharged lower than this level should be recharged using the SC-12, SC-6, SC-2 or XCR-20 Battery Recovery Charger.

PowerPulse Applies Pulse Technology to Regularly Charged Batteries

The PowerPulse is one of the most popular and versatile products offered by PulseTech Products Corporation, and is a vital part of their Battery Management Program.  When using the PowerPulse Battery Maintenance System, make sure all regularly charged batteries are continuously being pulsed with this affordable tool that will equalize batteries, increase the capacity in older batteries and triple the life of new batteries!

The PowerPulse Maintenance System was selected as a Top 50 Product by Automotive Engineering magazine and is designed to ensure maximum battery performance in frequently used vehicles or pieces of equipment. It is not a charger and should only be used on vehicles or equipment that are regularly used and frequently charged. Charging alone doesn’t eliminate the main cause of battery failure – energy robbing lead sulfate deposits on battery plates.

The PowerPulse is a performance enhancing device designed to help batteries charge faster and provide maximum performance and power by generating an intermittent, optimized high frequency pulse that reduces existing sulfate deposits and keeps them from building up again. The patented Pulse Technology enables batteries to accept, store and release maximum power when needed.  PowerPulse units work with single batteries, batteries in parallel and batteries in series. Refer to the chart below for the various PowerPulse configurations.

This small-weather proof product can supplement your existing charging system and can be powered in two different ways. When the battery is being charged either by an onboard charger or a separate charging system, it will use the charging current as a power source. The rest of the time PowerPulse uses a small portion of the battery’s own energy so it is working 24-hours a day so you don’t need an electrical outlet. Accordingly, it should only be used on vehicles or equipment that is regularly used and frequently charged.

Features:

  • Makes your batteries last up to 3 times longer than normal – even forklift batteries
  • 4 voltages available – 12, 24, 36 and 48 volt products for multiple battery systems
  • Maximizes the performance of ALL lead-acid batteries, including flooded, AGM, Gel and Deep Cycle designs
  • Exclusive Pulse Technology maximizes power and performance by eliminating power-robbing sulfate crystals
  • Indestructable waterproof design
  • 5 year limited warranty

SAVE YOUR BATTERIES!

DO YOU HAVE OLD BATTERIES STACKED IN YOUR GARAGE OR SHOP or dying batteries that need reviving? PulseTech Products Corporation has capitalized on an environmentally friendly and cost effective solution for keeping your lead-acid batteries working longer – Pulse Technology.

What is Pulse Technology?

PulseTech has patented Pulse Technology as a safe, effective and scientifically validated product that restores batteries and extends battery life up to five times its normal cycle. Pulse Technology not only restores batteries, it also prevents premature battery failure, reduces hazardous waste and fees old batteries produce, thus creating a more sustainable and safe environment.

How does it work?

As batteries sit for extended periods of time sulfate crystals begin to build and cover the battery plates, forming a physical barrier across the plates preventing a charge. Pulse Technology removes the sulfate crystals and allows the battery to accept, store and release maximum power, returning your battery to an environmentally safe and responsible product.
